I once lost a trans because mud daubers filled up the trans fittings on the radiator. They are quick working little devils! I had about the same symptoms as the OP.

Well it’s been a minute but after tearing down the trans and not really finding anything that could cause this I called John at CRT and spoke to him he told me it sounds like something possibly in the valve body to send him the valve body so he can disassemble and inspect so I shipped it to them UPS turns out they lost the package eventually when they found it it was being ready to be shipped overseas finally they sent it back to me a month later then sent it back to CRT John was on it right away soon as he received it turns out the problem was in the valve body he repaired the valve body Dino tested it shipped it back to me as well as the front band that was cooked with no cost I will be re-assembling the trans on Saturday and putting it back in I will let you guys know how it turns out The customer service at CRT is first class I have never met John or his wife but definitely good people

By the way UPS did not do **** for me not even reimbursed me my shipping cost

Just a note.
If you over fill your trans aka have the wrong dipstick in it. It will major over heat with in just a few miles. even in the dead of winter..........Ask Me How i Know this
