That makes sense in today’s world. Up is down down is up wrong is right right is wrong. Free is next day next day is $44.99

I remember "when I was a kid" (about 64-5, I was 16ish) DROOL over the stuff in the Lafayette Radio/ Bernstein-Appleby, Allied Radio, and you'd finally scrape up enough for whatever it was, find time to go down and buy a PO money order, after laboorously filling out the order form in the catalog, mail it AND WAIT. AND WAIT......AND WAIT!!! In "about a month" if you were lucky, "some of it" would arrive.

the Sept 21 date for EXPEDITED is weird too. when i looked for these H11's on amazon, none of them could arrive before that date, and all most of them were on that date. :realcrazy:

I needed an oil pump cover o-ring, so I figured I just check my local napa. They didn't have it in stock(no surprise), so they would have to get it out of texas. The total with shipping was going to be around $31.00. I still haven't figured out they can justify so much for an o-ring that could be thrown in an envelope.

I don't think I'll be ordering anything from Napa that can't be brought in from a local warehouse.

usually having something shipped to your local napa for pick up is free :wtf:

Not sure what is worse, the shipping or those hideous blue lights.

Some people don't read and blindly click "expedite".

Most of us can remember everything mail ordered was six to eight weeks for delivery.
