Seems like the bed is designed for bags of mulch and not much else.

4&1/2 foot long, 6 foot with tailgate down. The tailgate can be set halfway down to support 4x8 sheet materials like sheetrock or plywood even with tops of the wheel houses. These would sit on top of the wheel houses. According to ford it can take18 sheets of 3/4" plywood in the bed and be at bed weight capacity.
