Giving up on a project.

Sometime you "gotta do what you gotta do". Start to add Kids a busy career and demanding family things get more tight. Sounds like the focus and goal is to get the car ready for a wedding, do what you need to do to get is there, you'll be glad you did. I would consider this a win and fast tracking to getting it on the road. You can go back and do some thing you wanted to do as you drive it.

I've had my GTS 25 years. This year was the first time its been driven in my ownership. It came with me when I married my wife, put her through Nursing school, a lay off for me after 13 years on the job (and a new carrier at a new company in a field I'm still like Dorthy in Oz at after 11 years), 2 kids now 8 and 11, and a house with many remodels. Trust me, get it done and on the road now.

My GTS a few weeks ago, parked somewhere other than my garage and driveway. Still work to do, but it drives and my family likes riding in it.
