Old car prices, omg.

Everything is a collectible and every seller "knows what he's got"..... the used/collector car market is pure insanity right now.

It's almost like mainstream people have discovered that new $80,000 disposable rolling computers aren't worth it and are looking for cheaper, more durable options.

There is a 67/68/69 barracuda on b bodies in the 10, 000 and under thread. They want 9000.00 for it. Arizona car. It’s 1 of the last ads. Kim

I like to go for the obscure cars. Something that not everyone would build. I lucked into my barracuda on the farm of a customer. $4,000.00. Then I worked on it for 6 years and untold more $$$$$$. I feel lucky to have it. My current build (65 Cyclone) was a CL find, a running driving car and it was complete. My retirement build. Went to clean it up and wound up ordering a rotisserie to I could fix all the body rust and cut the shock towers ect.ect. I paid too much for the car because I wanted it and didn't lift the carpet up to look. Now I am looking at two more years of building because it is completely apart and in primer----------------:-(

around here if all it got is the top half of the quarters and a beat up roof and a tittle its 5 to 10 grand depending on model line...

I noticed around here, that prices had gone nuts. Puts a whole new light on the "I thought I had too much" into the 74 Scamp
