GW340P33640364. This engine is in my 1971 Duster H code car. My VIN is VS29H1E119607. So I would assume it’s not a matching numbers car? Any help would be appreciated. New to Mopars.

The G is the series, 1971. (1971 model year)

But that is the engine serial number, not the partial VIN for the car.

Look for a flat pad down low, right above the oil pan on the passenger side for the partial VIN.

Thanks for all your help. I was worried that the car was not a matching numbers like the seller stated. I will look for the matching vin on the other side.

Ok.... while you are under there, look for the partial VIN on your automatic transmission too. Look for a flat pad on the passenger side of the bellhousing.

While you are at it you might as well see if you can find body numbers and confirm the dash vin is correct. The dash unbolts so the vin is not exactly "part of " the body. Normally those partials are on the rad support and rear trunk lip One knowledable member on here claims he had one about that year that never had body stampings. Because of his history here, I tend to believe him

My 70 Swinger 340 has one on the passenger side trunk lip under the weather seal, but none on the radiator support.
