Fastback reverse light wiring

Ya I was afraid I may have tried too hard. Ill clean her up and put on a little something to ground it together. Not a big deal at the moment. Its more frightening to have to drill some holes in the valance as this is a new piece back there and curved. Thanks for the input!
I once saw a 67 park/turn fixture with huge gob of solder all around the socket inside the fixture. Solder didn't stick to the potmetal. It might have worked for a while. The right turn indicator in the dash would randomly blinkidy blink blink. Broken ground in that front fixture is what I found.
I have read that the aftermarket part doesn't have holes for reverse lamps so it works on 68 modeel also. Question.. will you run bumperettes? Do your bumpers have added holes for them? Reason I asked... the bumperettes can be placed at bumper bolts at front bumper without issue. At rear bumper the bumperette will land right in front of the reverse lamp. I relocated my reverse lamps father apart ( 3 or 4 inches left and right ) so I can run the bumperettes without drilling more holes in the bumpers. I can remove the bumperettes and put bumper bolts back if I choose to.
