Most turbo manufacturers don’t post maps for the turbine side. Only the compressor side. They’ve done the math for you and sizing based on compressor maps is the accepted norm. You can taylor the onset of boost slightly with the ar of the turbine side after selecting a turbo.

I am working with turbos lots lately because of the diesel stuff I am doing with Mercedes and Cummins. Very different animals though LOL- the fuel pump is not the same issue on the diesels. Since I have access to the actual turboes, I am betting my /6 gets one within a couple years.
