Ever just want to interview someone to understand the series of inputs and decisions the lead to such results?

Good to see that the pillars protected the hydrant

It easily could have been road conditions. This area (a near repeat of 67) had no rain at all since ?June? and we just barely got started with rain. The road could have been oily. I recall one year when I was stationed at NAS Miramar, no rain for a long time. I was "going home" from the station, and the highway was so slick it could have been ice. I GTFO of the freeway, CAREFULLY made my way some 10 or so more miles to the apt on surface streets. You would just touch the gas and the tires would slip. Lots of crashes

This was not the case....road was wet but not oily. Had been raining all day. I passed by it right after it happened. I had to turn around to take the pictures. Fire truck was just leaving the station...it was less then 200 yards from the crash site. When I was slowing turn I was pretty hard on the brakes...when I was leaving I was pretty hard on the throttle, right next to the vehicle.
This happened at the 291 Brewhouse in Suncrest. Not the first crash like this. Last year there was a brand new Audi perched on top of the rocks at the entrance to the weed store. This spring there was a vehicle on its roof just a few hundred yards from both of these. Road was dry. 11 in the morning.
