Kelly’s 74 Swinger

Hi guys, its been awhile but im still here and still working on this car! I cant seem to upload pictures at the moment but im slowly moving forward. I ended up having to do more sheetmetal work then i originally thought. I bought some fat rear tires for this baby so im having someone with a clue give me some assistance in flaring my quarter panels to fit my 295's under there. We had to do some work to the passenger side wheelhouses and lower quarter to get the flare im looking for as well as replaced extension panel, the trunk pan and fixed some rust holes. I have aquired a drivers side extension panel, as well as inner and outer wheel houses and lower quarter for the drivers side because they were just smoked , ive cut out all the bad stuff and hopefully will get the drivers side back together this month. At this point i have exceeded my budget for this car but im sure im not the first guy to do that so ive accepted it and looking forward to spending more.

Here is my problem......I live in Juneau, Alaska and i have not even seen another dart on the road up here but wouldnt you know i crack open the craigslist and there is a 1970 with a 340 and a 4 speed that runs and drives but it is horribley rusted worse then the one ive been playing with. The owner has expressed a willingness to part the car out which really bothers me but not so much that i wouldnt like to have the running gear out of this car! The car runs and drives but i wouldnt call it safe.....How much do you guys think i should offer for the running gear? He wants 4500 for the car and he is not budging.
