Cam choice!

This is my first post. I don't have an a body, but I have a 360 that I need some help with on choosing the correct cam for my use.
What I have are 9.5 to 1 pistons, a set of speedmaster aluminum heads. Rotating assembly has been machined and balanced. Stock rods that were polished and shot pinned. 2400 stall speed converter with 904 trans. Transmission was rebuilt with race bands and clutches. Would like to put a manual valve body sometime. I have and 8.75 rear end with 2.94 gears, but that may change. 26.1-in tires. Car should weigh in at around 2500 to 2600 lb. This will be a weekend cruiser, cruising from town to town so driveability is of some importance. Gas mileage is of some importance. Operating range maybe off idle to 5,500 RPM. Forgot to mention I have an Edelbrock performer intake that will be port matched to the heads. There are no headers that I know of made for my car. So headers are out. I will either have to go with some 340 exhaust manifolds or shorty headers with 2 1/2 inch stainless exhaust. I want this thing to be able to lay you back in the seat good and hard. I would like some suggestions on a cam that would suit me. Does anyone else have any combos similar to mine... Let me know... Thanks
