Rob....not much help on the pump removal, but can offer a suggestion to flush the commode. If you have a 5 gallon bucket or 2 sitting around, go to the closest creek and fill em up. Bring them home and pour them in the back of the commode after you flush it. If you have 2 bathrooms, just use one to pee in so you don't have to flush it but maybe once a day. "If it's yellow, let it mellow." "If it's brown, flush it down!" I had to go to FL to work a few years ago after a hurricane. Didn't have power in the hotel, so I carried the trash can from my room to the swimming pool to get water to flush with. It works! Sorry for your troubles....hope you get it fixed soon.
