As with insuring anything you have , Documentation and good pictures are key.
The whole point with insurance is to not ever having to use it. Insurance is just in case... Protect it like you mean it. The insurance company has no emotional ties to your property only financial.
A bullet proof vest is much better protection than an expensive insurance policy. Only your beneficiary gets that benefit.
