What Are You Doing To/With Your Car Today?

I cringe when I see those. And the cars with 3 foot of rubber fuel line. It's a fire waiting to happen.
That's what I've used for 17 years. Replaced three times, the way my cars are, I need to see the fuel (crappy pump that won't die, and similar). I keep the filter away from the heat as much as possible, usually over the frame rail. I haven't checked under hood temperatures, but I doubt they are in the 350° range that the plastic melts at. When they get old and a little dirty, I replace them.
