The flat labor to replace the pump would have been 500. The pump I have is a 1HP. They normally run between 500-1200 depending on brand and whatnot. I know you can find them cheaper, but if I had to replace the pump, I only wanna do it once.
Don't use the Chink ones my original Davey pump lasted 5 years very high sand content down the hole ,replaced it with a Chink unit lasted 8 months casing was much thinner come out looking like flywire put an Italian Onga been good for 3 years.
