When this guy comes a wandering on up. I had my door open and he wandered right over to within 4 feet from me and never saw me. My yard is about a quarter-mile from the Colorado River and there's a herd of about ten thousand deer that live along the river This guy's been hanging out in my yard a lot lately feeding on the weeds

Yep it is a Mule. We don't have White Tails over here. Have them on the other side of the state from the Foothills on out into the plains. Over here it's Mule Deer and Elk.
 
I'm hoping he brings all his friends back to my yard and eat all of the weeks that got a little out of control with all the rain that we actually got this summer.
