I bet it's been hard on everyone at the factory trying to do the best they can to build a quality engine and not buying cheap parts to compensate for the shortage.
In many cases (chrysler cams) I have paid literally double vs what we normally do, just to get parts in the door. It's been an experience, that's for sure.
