Installing the powersteering box in a 70 valiant and ran into abit of a hiccup. I'm having a hard time getting the bolt closest to the shock to go in properly, it only threads down about half way then it gets stuck I inspected the threads on the bolt and they look good, threads in the kframe look good too, do I need a shorter bolt? Anyone else run into this issue?

Are you reusing the factory bolts, or did the Borgeson box come with new ones? If it came with new ones, compare the length to the old bolts. It may be too long and bottoming out before the head contacts the mount on the box.

Got the bolts issue fixed. Now I gotta figure out how to center the box because I lost the instructions like the big dummy I am.

What was the issue with the bolt, in case someone else has the same problem and does a search?
Dirt and grime creating a rough spot in threads and slightly stretched bolt, chased the threads on both the hole and bolt. Size of bolt is approx. 1/2" T13. Used threadlocker on bolts.
