I have it backwards, I meant to say ford duratech 3.0, it's the dohc with the water pump on the back.
The vulcan 3.0 is the older design with the water pump on the front so you can wrestle with the damn frame rail like in a taurus ..... ask me how I know. I fought the frame rail and the frame rail won.
But that's a walk in the park to change. We have one. Kitty's 04 Escape. I haven't put a pump on it yet, but it's RIGHT THERE in your face when you open the hood.
