Same exact power band and peaks of my 440. Your hp number is a touch bigger. That engine will be fun to rive
What heads are you running Rocco? I was surprised everyone said my heads were sub par...you need trick flows or indys etc.. but I ported and used what I had and am happy with the results.

Performer RPM, max hand port with 2.20 intake valve. 345cfm on intake.

Mine made 575tq @ 4500, 602hp@5,900

I left a lot on the table with the cam and it wants more carb.

I would be happy to be at your levels I'm honestly a little worried about pushing the block too far getting close to 650. It's more than I had wanted really.

That’s the internet and most knuckle heads at large.
If you were to come here with a blank slate asking that question, those heads would be the answer most of the time due to there recent splash of coming out (TF), flow ability and popularity.

Also, your own ability to port a head is always going to be sub par in everyone’s eyes. After all, your not famous. So therefore, you have no idea what your doing and you screwed up the heads. Which as you discovered, everyone thinks aren’t up to the task but have proven otherwise.

Good job, keep it up!

Craig does an awesome job porting. What r ur flow numbers? Very nice build. Kim
I guess that means you are happy with the work he did on yours as well?
I will have to look for the sheets but if I'm not mistaken I was right at 300cfm @.500

Those power figures and flows are about right. The 440/496 had RPM heads that flowed 292 @ .500" and 309 @ .600". Used a 249/255 solid roller and .585/.600 lift. It made 642 FT-LBS @ 4,600 rpm and 641.6 HP @ 5,800 rpm.

Our RPM heads just like roccodart440 made 787 HP @ 7,200 rpm with a pump gas 400/451.

Are you still retired ? It's been awful quiet down in that area, very few earthquakes.
I bet you're getting ready for elk season.

Great combo! It’ll be a blast. Having a motor that peaks right around 5800- 6000 is fun on the street. It will live a longer happier life because of it. I’d love to see the cam card. I figure the 400/511 in my roadrunner is somewhere in that ball park. Makes the car an absolute riot to drive.

Yeah it probably would but I'm not after every extra horse and if I can use some cheap b body hedmans over tti I'm all over that plan!!

Unless there was a guy that would sell you a set of TTI 2" headers cheap.

hint..it's me..
