Original Hurst 4-speed pistol grip shifter handle

Hi enthusiasts, Slant6 Al here. Reaching out for some info on an item I’ve owned for quite sometime now maybe one of you can give me info on this one.
Back in the early 90’s I picked up this Hurst 4-speed pistol grip shifter handle and can’t seem to find anything online in my research. It seems it’s made from a solid block of billet aluminum. Correct size and specs for an original shifter handle. The only separate pieces on it are the plastic grips, with 3 screws holding it together and the 4-speed shift pattern decal on top. There are weighted shift handles on the market by Mishimoto for our Mopars weighing in at 12.8 oz. This one weighs 14oz. Almost a pound of aluminum. I was going to have it polished but MCG says to leave it as is. I was considering selling it since I won’t be using it in my Challenger, but if it’s original from days gone by I’m not sure. I need more info. Thanks, Al
Looking at the photos it looks like a cheaply made copy of a Pistol Grip shifter except the originals were made of steel, chromed and also included the handle.
