They are rare, rough estimate..................................A lot!!! more details needed!!

It’s been restored close to ome just some tinker stuff need to be done. It’s hasn’t been drove since all the work was done to it thanks

Few were 383’s, fewer were notch backs. Hope someone can come up with #’s.

99 made according to my book. Selling? ask $50 large and hope to sell for $40
Buying? Offer $20 and hope to buy for $30. LOL

Very difficult to tell from pics, but if you got that for $25K or less you've done very well.

That's just based on the few pics you've provided.

There's a ton of variables.

Rare. But a Fastback is more desirable and will sell for more.

383 a-bodies lead a rough life. Ask for before restoration pictures. Many were cut for fender wall headers.

On a 68 the build sheet is a big deal.

that car has lot of corners cut. You better know your A-body detail and 383 A-body specifics.

Hard to tell in pics, but all had dual exhaust. You should check the numbers yourself- VIN, engine, trans, radiator support and trunk W/S. Air cleaner is not correct. This is a very low option car. I am suspicious- bid low.

It has dual exhaust but the pass side muffler is barely visible in the 2nd pic.

I can get more pictures I don’t live far from the car. I knew what it looked like before it was restored. Thanks

and what did it look like? Any body panel replacement? How complete was it?

I'd be a little suspect of the work done. Looks like they didn't replace all of the rust under the car. Where else did they not do a complete job?

Cars restored to immediately sell, need to be very carefully look over.

The floor pan, both quarter panels, torsion bar cross member and one rocker panel was replaced.

Hagerty values this car in #2 (excellent) condition at $31,800.

thats for a run of the mill notch, old cars lists #2 383S as plus 30% or 41k and #1 is priced at 45k plus 30% or 58.5k.
condition is everything, if I were you I would have it appraised and inspected by a mopar expert. you need the build sheet to match the sequence number stamped on the motor, trans, radiator support and under the trunk gasket with the vin number on the dash. all stampings must match. the build sheet is the only way to document this car, if its missing car would be less money.

you need to know who did the restoration and if it was documented with photographs. any well known mopar restoration shop will add value.

have you bought this car?

Sure, if you want to call a 383-S in just less than concours condition "run of the mill."
Has any notch other than an M-Code ever sold for $58.5 K? Unless it has some sort of provenance like ownership by Tom Hoover or Ronnie Sox, I'd be surprised.

The 1969 Barracuda Notchback 340 4 speed Mod Top sold for 400,000.00
Notchbacks are worth a lot more than most people think especially the ones that just like fastbacks.
