Thanks guys, that made a big difference posting up the pics of this thing. I wondered about this as long as I’ve owned it. Being carved out of billet aluminum, it even resembles the chrome steel handles. I sent photos and info to MCG they haven’t gotten back with me, but did say leave it as is. And it weighs quite a bit. Has wood grained plastic grips with three screws holding it together. I always thought the shifter knobs screwed onto shifter lever. Thanks again. Al
