I like the precision adjustment aspect but feel the top bolt will hit not the rubber. Am I missing something??

Biomedtechguy bent one of those into trash can filler in two passes. (Tho frankly, I don't know how. On my car, a pinion snubber is worse than useless. It does nothing, it can't, because when my car lifts off the line, it's waving in space, four inches away from the floor. Therefore, all it is is useless weight.)
Don't. It is a fragile useless pos.

Wow, pinion snubbers discussed and discounted in two posts. Yup, it’s all right here, in depth, all encompassing and definitive. It’s really interesting how some use and make them work exceptionally well yet others have seemingly catastrophic results ....all this regardless of ET, MPH, and vehicle. Mighty interesting as is the strong opinions on their use, not so much pro but con. :realcrazy:

Hardly all encompassing and definitive. (Sarcasm noted). Op asked about a part that a member had used, with complete dissatisfaction, so I posted that. My opinion of pinion snubbers is colored by my experience. It must work for somebody, cause lots swear by them (instead of at!)
Before I put ss springs on mine, and before I altered the front pivot point of the leafs (hopefully changing the instant center a little), my stock springs would raise the rear of the car literally six inches. With the ss, it's probably half that, but.... how does a snubber do anything when it's four inches away from the floor?
Results aren't "catastrophic", I just don't see a reason to carry the weight.
