a 2x4 setup question

You know how life sometimes gets in the way of doing the projects that you plan. Well this thread shows me how much it has gotten in my way. It’s been 4 years since I was planning this project. So many changes since then but this winter it’s time to make it happen. I have completed the freshening up of the 2 Holley 600 carbs. I bought vacuum pods for both carbs and a new spring set so that I can attempt to set up the secondary’s to work together. I will need to learn a lot more about Holley to make this work. But before getting into that I have some other things I need to correct in this car. I’ve been driving it some in the last 3 years, about 500 miles maybe. It’s has some issues so i plan on some changes starting with the routing of the fuel lines. They now run on the inside of the frame rails and I will hopefully be moving them inside the frame rails to protect them from heat. Next will be the the removing of my intake and seeing if the 2x4 setup will even fit under the hood. I do have a spare hood but I would prefer it fits under this one. Then I will need to remove torsion bars, headers, steering column as I will be adding a pair of edelbrock aluminum heads. When putting it all back together I plan on making some additional clearance for my headers using my hammer where it was very close to the frame. Didn’t want to do that when the ceramic headers were brand new but now they are used! Hopefully I won’t run into any valve train geometry issues with these heads and I can use the same push rods. When using this intake I originally needed 3 water outlets for heater hose, water temp sender and electric fan sensor however I had to go with a manual fan so I won’t need the extra hole for a sensor. Lastly once the intake and carbs are one I’m hoping I have room for one of the nicer air cleaner setups but that one I’m doubting.
Again sorry it’s been this long for any updates and completion. I left you all hanging but I’m hoping I can get er done this winter and get some enjoyable driving in next year. Below are some pics of the intake, carbs, linkage and the bracket I’m making for my throttle cable.
