Hello FABO!
I am currently visiting in Spokane/Coeur d'alene area and am looking for an area that is good to target shoot my new pistola. Might be going as far as Montana.

Thanks!

Indoor or outdoor?

Sharpshooters is where my dad usually goes. I've only been there once, but seemed like a decent place if a little busy.

Not sure on any public outdoor areas. I usually go to a friends if I want to shoot.

I'm west of Spokane about 40 minutes. Welcome to stop by, I can offer you a beer but no promises it will be a good one. :D

Wow thanks!
Outdoor some kind of fire service road? In Wallace now. Going to check out the ghost town of Burke. Ill PM you when coming back through if the timing is good.

Will ask a friend if he know of an area around here.

Gonna shoot you my number in a PM just in case. Hate to miss you because I didn't check in here or something.

In Coeur d Alene / Post Falls, actually there is "Center Target Sports" They are a good outfit. Very regulated however. You cannot willy nilly rapid fire for example. They are not terribly far off the beaten path

Get onto 41 N towards Rathdrum on the eastern end of Post Falls, go North, stay to left, take left at Mullan and go down a few blocks, they on the right

Maybe we should set up a get together at the Oval Office in Post Falls for you, me and Del and anyone else that wants to get together? Or maybe at one of the two shooting ranges?

Ha! Had a few days off so Heidi, Drago and i hit the road. Ghost towns, trailer shopping and shooting is the theme.

Now in Missoula!

We will spend the night here before heading back. That would be cool to meet you guys. Ill give you a heads up to our shenanigans.

We are from Seattle area. Don't hold it against me now

Check out this FMC 2009R with a 440! Drago and i at Burke ghost town. Old silver mine....i think

couple of goofballs over here

I might be able to join if the time is right. I am in Post Falls, but can travel if not working. Pics of the new pistol?

We are shooting (ha!) To be in the post falls area at the shooting range around 3-4. We are visiting a friend around 5:30-6 so won't have much time but very excited to meet up. I will post as we get closer but fairly confident i can hit the mark lol

It takes me about 1.5 hours to make Post Falls and I work until 4:00. No much of a window.

If other's can make it, might be able to work it out. Kent, Del? You in?

No worries, no stress, I'm glad we have an opportunity to shoot. We are not strangers to shooting but we are both used to being outside and usually rifles. So this us a new experience.

If anyone is available, it would be super cool to meet you, but to travel over an hour for such a short meeting.... seems a bit extravagant....

Thanks!!!

If it's just you and me, rather offer a stop off point on your way home (no idea if you are even traveling on Highway 2 though).

If more people can make it, it would be worth it. I've only met Del, Kent and Doug (@inkjunkie) from the forum before and would like to meet more people and a group thing would be fun.

Agreed. I am the wild card as far as timing. I could be looking at 5 o clock as we are going to hit a ghost town in Drummond. That puts us with a 4 hr drive back to state line. So, I'll just keep checking in with my eta. Not trying to be flaky here fellas, sorry about ever changing target of a flea on a horses ***. I can adjust my visit with my buddy just outside of Spokane, as he knows I'm on the road.

FABO RULES!!

Man, back in the 70's & 80's we use to just go out on government lands & set up targets... I knew you can't do that here in California anymore but apparently even Idaho frowns on it anymore...

Rumor has it there is a piece of government land in the area where people still go shoot. In Washington no less. But I haven't heard back where exactly that is so I haven't mentioned it.
