Aluminum bumper brackets, a new offering

-
Motorhead- the maroone car is the way most 74's came- notice the bumper is tucked in, and the other pic's show the brackets from the under side. The red one is a 76 Feather Duster with the bumper filler (holes slightly different.) Some 74's came with a similar filler and the shock mounts.

Can you measure the bolt pattern centers on the feather duster for me? width and height. I'm going to compile some data on this matter.

Can you PM me your contact info? Like I said it seems your website is down. Or post a link to the website. Either works for me.

Brackets worked like a charm. Thank you very much again.

Just curious. Do you offer these for early a bodies?

Anyone interested in bright aluminum carriage bolts, washers and nuts for the brackets? I dont know what they weigh but obviously lighter than stock. Just polling for interest before I buy 100 of each.
Yes I am. At least 2 sets. And bumpers also. It will be a month or so but I want them. Thanks.

What do your front brackets for a 69 Dart weigh?

Do you have rear bumper brackets for 1973 scamp? I think 1972 Dart would work. The bumper is an AMD Steel for 1972 dart.

Hi Kent, I have them for fiberglass. I am waiting for a steel variation to be cut for your application. Hopefully in the coming weeks.
Good afternoon, you asked me to contact you in a few weeks, regarding front bumper brackets for a 1973 Duster. Fiberglass
Thank you Ken

Are steel brackets for ‘75/‘76 Dusters that replace the impact absorbers available? If so could you post pictures or a link to them.
Thanks

I just had a pal in NC pull me a set of fronts, with the inner core, to replace the shock types on the front of mine. But I'm not sure the " shock" types weight savings are worth ... any idea what they weigh?.
Thanks.

I do not have a steel replacement for the 75/76 models at this time. I'd like to make this available in the future. Thanks.

I have a shock style inner with the shocks on it I could weigh later today. 70-80 lbs I think.
Thanks.

They are heavy, but I think the most savings is from getting rid of the beam in the bumper that the shocks bolt to. I was lucky enough to be able to swap mine for aluminum ones from a Feather Duster.

It seems like my car is one of the few 1974 Dusters with shock mount bumpers both front and rear. In the case of the front frame rails, mine still has the holes for the standard bumper but no threads. The rear is really different and missing sheet metal to make it work.

What would be really cool is if you could figure out brackets that bolt to the bumper without the beam and used bolt holes that are existing in the frame rails. Oh, and pulled the bumper in an inch or more. I bet people could drop 100# or more off the car if they could replace the shocks and beams with an aluminum bracket.
