This car is a recent purchase and I just noticed this antifreeze. Is there an obvious issue or could it be a number of things such

okay photo isn’t uploading. bit there is a little antifreeze in the front right side of the intake.

Is it coming from the intake bolt hole?

Heater hose leak
T-stat leak
Intake gasket leak

you tell us.

yeah, that was my first guess. Wondering if this might be as simple as simply checking the torque on each bolt?

Well... nothing is leaking while running idling warm. I do not think the water hose is the culprit since that clamp is snug.
t-stat? that's a good possibility and an easy replacement. I'll stop and pick one up.
I guess the washer is free of paint on the one bolt too

Run your fingers along the bottom of those hoses for any residue and check around the back of the thermostat neck.

Pull the wire off your temp sensor and inspect around it for weepage

Thanks for all of the thoughts.. I took it out for two long drives to help show the issue and now I do not see fluid on the intake ..

It seems I've had water pumps in the past act up and never really expose themselves until it's completely shot. I think I'll have to just keep my eye on it.
