Will this work in a 64 Dart for a V8 conversion?

Yup, the early Ks are all the same- /6, V8. Although if it's cheap enough, it might still be a good buy just for the disc brakes, pump and steering box; depending on your needs.
 
Putting a 360 in a 1964 Dart convertible. Already have the motor ready to go and I saw this for sale for $250.
 
As already stated, you need the early A engine brackets with either K frame (and they're still both the same). And if you're replacing a slant, you'll also need the V8 steering center link for pan clearance, which may be part of the other package. Check for a dropped center as opposed to a relatively straight centerlink.
 
If the disc brakes are rebuildable it is worth the money. The brakes are worth a little more than that...Add to the the power steering gear core...
 
If that is $250 total., snap it up! measure across the front mount holes, and Ill measure mine when I get home unless someone has an early A that they can check. The later ones were a few inches wider.
 
That's a smokin deal if you ask me. Granted it won't change the fact that you still the brackets for the motor. You could part that out for more than the asking price.
 
If that is a pre 1967 K member then yes snap it up. Then take it all apart and reweld all the seams and add some gussets around the steering and idler arm. Add few gussets in high flex areas and you will have a front end that is about as taught as a Rack & Pinion.
 
Does the link attached to the assembly look correct. Do you think it's worth the money?

Yes, that looks like the V8 centerlink.
And if that front end is as fresh as it looks (bushings, ball joints, tie rod ends), you'll be dollars ahead just bolting the whole assembly into your car- and as said, you get disc brakes too! Winner winner chicken dinner!
