What I want is small lightweight and DA only, meaning, no safety if possible.

I carry a Sig P290 DAO, chambered in 9mm, everyday. It's compact, not too heavy and with extended mag gives you 8 and 1, it carries well IWB at 3:30.

It is a polymer frame, but I have had zero issues with it.
