but then, i come from the midwest, the only place in the world where people talk normal and no one has an accent

:poke:

Hmm. I was born in Wyoming and have lived in North Dakota for over 40 years. When I talk to easterners, more often than not they comment on my 'western' accent. Accent, what accent, we got no stinkin' accent!

There are some that will argue N.E. Al. is actually the real South!!???
If you can't find boiled peanuts, you are not really South!!:poke::rofl::confederateflag:

I still haven’t tried those boiled peanuts and I’ve been in Huntsville 5 years or that darn white BBQ sauce.

You ain't a true southerner without at least one inop car in the yard.

Well, was at a NASCAR race in Bristol, TN about 20 years ago and had some local boys ask where I was from. I told them Michigan. They said they weren’t surprised because I had a “northern accent”!!!! I laughed pretty hard over that one!!

Just left Guntersville where we are renting for a month to drop off the rental car in Huntsville on University Ave. Hopefully closing is next week.
