The place I work for is a public entity. They just promoted a guy I work with as a mechanic with 7 years of experience that he learned working with me. I have over 38 years experience. I stopped diagnosis and have become a glorified lube tech. He does not know much and has already spent our annual budget in 1 month at Cummins. They will not fire me as we are already 2 techs short and have been for a year now.
Yes it’s a hard pill to swallow alright it’s the loudest guys that puffs there chest a pretend to know what’s going on get the manager jobs ,meanwhile the quiet guys with all the knowledge keep the place running . Hope your feeling better …….:)
