Well, was at a NASCAR race in Bristol, TN about 20 years ago and had some local boys ask where I was from. I told them Michigan. They said they weren’t surprised because I had a “northern accent”!!!! I laughed pretty hard over that one!!

ive chatted with you, you did sound a little off

:poke:

You want to talk about accent? Try being a Canadian picking up a Duster in Texas! A few guys came to talk about the car when I was fueling up the tow rig and they thought I was Mork from Ork!

And remember, the War of Northern Aggression ain't really over.... just a break to store up more:rofl: grits and cannonballs!!!!:confederateflag::poke::popcorn:
I was going to say, them Southern boys still don't like Yankees...not much changed with that.. they know too, northerners "talk funny"...:)

I had lived in Missouri for many years and I was back home in S.W. Ga to see about my old mom. I had picked up a RR that needed some holes brazed in the gas tank. (Yes it can be done). I well remember the guy there that owned that welding shop, I had gone thru HS with asking " Where you been living Billy, you sure talk funny!!" lol I still had such a strong Southern accent , people in Mo. still were always saying' Say that again, you sure talk funny!!" lol

@fratzog lover We went to Bagliano’s on Wednesday. For some sausage, torallis and port wine cheese. Yum! Thought of you guys the whole time we ate that. Hope you find a good pizza parlor and cheese steak hoagie place down there! I sure would miss those items!
