Wheel Hub Stands on Sure-Grip Rear
I want to use some wheel hub stands to support the rear end of the car on both sides to maximize the access to the area around the wheel housing as I replace quarters. These bolt to the hub and support the weight like a jack stand. see pic of representative design. My concern is being able to rotate the axles independently so the base will sit correctly. Am I going to be able to rotate one axle and not the other. Essentially slip the Sure-grip? Trying casually with one tire on the ground I haven't been able to but I haven't really gone at it. I can't use jack stands under the axle because the car is already raised on wheel cribs and the mid-rise lift is in the way.
