Hi Guys for those who remember my story i was offered a big amount for my cuda in may...the deal is not working out very well up to now...have him sign 2 new extensions and non refundable money by the recommandation of my lawyer . I was supposed to buy back my old crush , 76 sunroof 360 duster and buy our first house...but wait....wait , if the deal doesnt work out for the cuda and i keep his deposit i have an offer on the table , one of my friends offered me his 1971 charger , new engine and trans , comes with 3-4k of spare parts and 20k cash , i didnt want at first but as the days are passing buy this design is growing on me , its a big freakin car , needs a paint job ( hate the color ) but it drives good , nothing to fix and its a nice cruiser and its a love or hate 3rd gen, so im thinking about all of this because i just want to put a end to this and already selling my dream car was hard enough but im passed that state, the duster would be my 1st choice but i need to keep money for the house so Buyer pays me in full = Duster and cashdown OR i take the fat charger and cash = no duster + a charger and 20k cash...

 My first car was a 68 Charger R/T and later I had a 70 Charger R/T so those were my favorite body style. But, I could definitely live with one like that. To me, it looks sportier than later years when they added the louvered quarter windows. If the paint was good, I would just add some Magnum 500 style wheels, and try for a taller tire. Then I would be good to go.

This 73 Roadrunner showed up in my neighborhood last week. Even though I never really liked this front end redesign, you wouldn't have known it from my reaction. Out the door I went to see if it stopped at a neighbors house.

I was very surprised how well it was handling for such a boat !! Didnt feel very different than a smaller e-bodie , even with a mild 350hp 360 it flew on the highway , not a 12 sec but a very fun cruiser , i was surprised

Close on the ridiculous money car. Sort out house. wait for right deal on a dart (or whatever is your next 'dream') that is closer to your style is my thoughts. But not knowing if you are looking to build or buy is part of the equation. I do like the idea of a nice straight slant six patina car driver to enjoy while putting together a sorted tried and true drive train, then thrashing it together.

The e body and that charger are the same thing underneath. They just chopped of the rear of the car shorter. Same suspension and K-member, same frame rails.

A 68 and 70 Charger are a much better driving car than the 71 and up,

1; Purchase a house with a 2 car garage.
2; Get house sorted out.
3; Buy car to put in the garage.
4; Have fun with it.
