Small block TrickFlow heads part 1

Ok now I’m disappointed but I know how to fix this as every other Edelbrock type head has it too. The flow numbers kinda suck without the tube. My low numbers always read low at .100-.200 as I’ve never calibrated it with an orface plate that small and never will. I use a 200cfm plate. It’s a hassle for me by myself holding a tube and flow testing because as soon as you hold the tube on the depression drops and needs raised and I can’t reach it while holding the tube on. For this reason I only tested the port at .500 with two different sizes of plastic pipe. Those numbers are on the far right. The airspeed in the exhaust post is very slow. At .500 lift I had to really do a lot of probing to find 255fps. At .550 I searched hard to find one spot at 261fps. I will be doing some reshaping of the exhaust ports for sure. Time to jump on a yard job then install an intake on my black duster. 9C7DC477-8C5A-4620-9427-C46E647C947B.jpeg
