People getting defensive at car shows!

I have no interest in judged Car Shows. I go to Cruises. Friendlier crowd.
My vin is always covered and my fender tag is in the glovebox. My car is so obviously 90% NOT original but occasionally some one would lean on it to read the tag or vin.

People take pictures all the time. I don't care.
They never ask first. I don't care.
They never ask if it is all original. I don't care.
If it was a restored original 440 6pk Cuda it would be worth 10 times as much. I don't care.
Starting to see a pattern here? It's my car not thiers.
The confused look on their face when they walk up and don't see what they expect - priceless.
It wasn't original when I bought it and it won't be when/if I sell it
If I have offended any anal numbers guys,. Yep you guessed it, I don't care.
I agree 100%. In fact, I've stopped going to any events at all. We've not been since we were members (founding members) of the Middle Georgia Mopar Club. It got to where if you didn't have an original 440 six pack or Hemi "something" you got brushed off. Now all the officers in that club have all that stuff and just about ignore people who don't. I have zero use for them anymore.

I've even tried to join the Jones County Cruisers in my own county now. Every time I bring it up "yeah man, we'd love to have you". Then I see where they've had another meeting and nobody let us know. All the "big wheels" know who I am and have my number. I'm not gonna be up their *** all the time askin when the next meet is. So I'm pretty much done with car clubs and shows.
