Spinning ain't winning ...

Best pass I could get easing out of the hole and still spun, no track prep and dewy.

Neither of yall did a burnout worth snot. Didn't even generate any tire smoke at all. The tires weren't hot.

It was 63° and the same for dew point we laughed about it later, no one had any luck and had drag radials it really doesn't matter with no prep on the starting line.

Running against an empty lane ain't winning, either.
Jeez, were you two the only ones in the place?

Thats Great Lakes dragaway, union grove,Wisconsin. That track is really low to the surrounding landscape, almost swampy and its been wet up here off and on since Saturday. Any rubber and track bite is long gone off that track. Don’t get me wrong, when its dry and prepped, its quick.

It was a Tuesday night a pretty lame night, they usually are busy the rest of the week but the threat of rain is for the next few days.
Track is getting resurfaced in a week and a half so going when we can.

Yeah when it's warm and prepped it hooks hard.

Thanks for sharing! You guys have some nice cars !! You had fun, and that's all that matters. You are correct, spinning ain't winning !

Pat, what are you running for rear tires? I know what Chuck is running and he needs some slicks, pro bracket radials would hook him up. And you too come to think of it. If you were running small bolt pattern I'd let you try mine

Spinning aint winning but it sure is fun when ya get the axle hopping over a speed bump in the High school parking lot...

Don't you want a little spin to keep the revs up but not blow em off like you're at a gasser race.

I have 275/60-15 Mt drag radials large bolt pattern, it was terrible out there I never spin when I'm out there. They had no one dragging the track and no vht on the line.

Chuck is just impatient and doesn't adjust anything lol

Thanks for the videos! Nice pair of cars and what a great night of test and tune! Sometimes you can really sort out some stuff when there is only a few guys making passes. The dew thing sucks but every single pass makes you more competitive. Looks like you guys had a great time.

I dropped tire pressure down to 15 that helped a lot but then it started misting so just packed up and went home.
