It acts as an anti seize agent as well, yet, so many people slap argue it down like they think you're slobberin it all over God's creation, plus they complain about how "hard" it is to clean up! Seriously? lol I have to reseal the oil pan on Vixen's engine soon and since I'm pulling the engine, I also plan on refreshing the crank bearings, so I'll give the total RTV treatment a whirl. LOL
