What to tell the exhaust shop.

Those tailpipes are ridiculously small, & yes 1.5" OD pipe, & some replacements are 1.25" in the bends...lol! A 2.5" system isn't too much, if You need more low/low-mid range torque, use smaller frt "Y" pipes to keep velocity high & rarefaction delta up. If top-mid & high end is the priority, go bigger so backpressure doesn't dampen that same negative pulse....

Thanks for the feedback. I know basically nothing about exhaust, so to keep it simple, would the 2.5 inch dynomax work well for a set up that is 2.5 inch from the manifold and maybe that or 2.25 behind the muffler? Another concern with the 2.5 inch was the shop having to bend them. Not sure if anyone makes reasonable pre-bent pipes for the slant 6. Thanks again.
