While installing mini starter in the 67 Coronet in order to move it so I could move the swingers engine into position for install we ran into a problem. It has a 360 magnum as well. There is a bump on the magnum that is not on the LA. Shouldnt matter as I used a magnum starter? Nope a little grinding on both magnums and we are back on track.

She fired up easier than I thought she would. Thanks go out to @dartfreak75 and @318willrun for the push in the right direction.

Great work bud! Glad its running. You can get that broken bolt out! Take a nut and thread it on and weld it on the top. Heat around the hole and it will come out. I like to heat around the bold then spray some penatrate then reheat again then try to ease it out.

Cant get penetration on the grade 8 bolt, only on the nut. But will get it eventually.

Those dang things can be stubborn. I broke one of the exhaust studs off in my head I tried everything ended up having to drill it and retap it. I managed to get it centered enough that I didn't have to go up a size in thread just drilled out the the old bolt and cleaned out the threads

I need to get a better drill bit and drill it out on the milling machine.

Great job. I find these threads so satisfying to read. I dragged home a barracuda that was sitting in a back alley for 3 years and got it back on the road.

Keep us posted.
