What to tell the exhaust shop.

I've looked at that Accurate LTD system. Did you also upgrade the muffler? Do you remember the "sale price"? If I upgrade to the larger 2.25 inch pipe and muffler I'm seeing $670, plus $200 to ship. (crazy). After tax and other BS I'm probably looking at close to $1000 to get that system. I know I wouldn't pay near that for a shop to do it.

For me, total including muffler, gasket with bolts, clamps and hangers, including shipping ($98.00), was $417.20. That sale price was $80.00 off their regular price. That was for a 2.25 system with HP muffler.
That was 2011. I just looked at their web site. All I can say is :wtf:. Apparently they've gone up a lot since then. And $200 shipping? Especially considering you're a lot closer to them than I am, I guess shipping has gone way up too.

Might want to check with TTI. Their early A body 2.5 inch dual exhaust system is only $750 plus whatever shipping is. Can't pull up their 2.5 inch slant six single price now, but surely it's a lot less. ???
