CLUTCH FORK PIVOT

When it comes to the A body small block 10 1/2 clutch & bell housing how many different fork pivots were used ? Im having a hard time clipping the clutch fork on to the throw out bearing. When i take the pivot off it clips right on.
 
They are not easy to install. Every fork has it's own pivot, and application. I relax the two springs on the throwout bearing just a little, just keep trying till you get it.
