Had to pull the pan on my new engine because the header has clearance issues. Saw a bunch of junk in the pan. Definite metallic content. This blows. View attachment 1715803223
Try using a Jomar 100% No-Bypass oil filter when you get it back together. I had a valvetrain failure (destroyed all the needle bearings in the exhaust rockers) on my last build and none of the debris got to the bearings.
