Depending on how long the back order wait is for the Tuff Wheel adapter, you could make one out of a used E body soup can steering wheel adapter. Turn it down to proper length in a lathe, join the ends together to make the proper distance, and then get that whiz bang welding artist that does your HDK stuff to TIG it together for you. Tuff wheel bolts right up in an E body, and somebody on here or at Moparts made an adapter for an A body in the above described fashion a while back. Just an idea, in case that adapter is on a slow boat from China. :)

took some time off at the shop...and headed to The Nats.

A small tribute to Bout.... my friend (and painter) of 50 years that passed away unexpectedly 2 weeks ago. Bouts last task at his shop before he was hospitalized was taking a couple of dinkles out of the stainless window trim for Butchs' build. Bout had expertly removed the flaws, but they still needed polished so I stopped out Monday to finish. As I finished up and was putting things away, I reached for a towel Bout was using for the final wipe off. Laying under the towel was Bouts work apron. As I was composing myself , Bouts daughter presented me with a framed picture of Bout, Butch and I that was taken at Bout's shop when Butch was in town for the Summit Nationals in June. I asked Venessa if I could put Bouts apron with the picture. Check it out!

Truly Sorry for the Loss of Your Friend and Colleague. My Condolences... He appears to be one of the Best. And we all know, true Craftsmanship is rapidly fading.......
