Yep, we have to follow the water leak and rust upward. A vinyl top build has a little piece of chrome trim at top of a-pillar post. That screw can leak water down the post. It ends up in carpet along the bottom of kick panel. It might have been fixed if the vinyl top had been replaced when needed. A lot of old vehicles weren't maintained as well as they could have been.
