When did ma mopar start using bucket seats with head rests?

My brothers 68 GTX didn’t have them but remember seeing them in a friends 69 Roadrunner.

Not sure for 68, but in 67 you could option only one, and either side.

Todd has a 67 barracuda here with head rests from the factory.

So, would the fender tag reflect the option of bucket seats with head rest or is it only reflected on broadcast sheet?

No, only on the build sheet possibly and obviously it wouldn't need to be on cars scheduled for after Jan. 1, 69 build since it mandatory. However nothing is carved in stone about build dates. My first 69 cuda(purchased new after Jan 1st) had a bench seat with headrests and my present 69 cuda has buckets and headrests (2/26 build date).

I almost bought a 67 GT 273-4 in turbine bronze with bronze interior had the build sheet and was coded for buckets with pass side head rest only, which it had.

Should have bought that. Pretty and in good shape, plus odd option bonus.

The Barracuda I pictured above with the headrests is also originally bronze. One of Todd's 67's
