Nope! Before he painted them he asked me what color they were supposed to be. I told him body color on the face but so much time had passed he forgot and he painted them black. My guess is that he is not sure of himself when it comes to A-Bodies and he had an A-12 moment. At this point I just want the car back. I can deal with the black rims.

i'm sorry you went through such an ordeal with your car. having it on GYC's seemed like a cool thing "8 years ago" - but it has turned into a nightmare for you. i imagine you are paying Worman a fair amount for this build but you probably could have found several shops that would have done this car for the same or even less money and finished the car in a year. American Metal Direct removed a drag race designed floor and put an entire OEM floor pan in my 69 M-Code cuda from a donor car in less than a year. but with them, i'm doing all the final body work and paint. just for comparison, i completely restored one of my 68 Barracuda's myself in 2600 hours just working on it in my house garage. that was about a year and a half. i watch GYC's every episode and love the cars he does. however, it appears that the high-value cars and "cars of stars" keep getting put ahead of the "regular" cars. i hope things work out soon for you.
