Replaced my Dart

I'm a little late to the game here, but I'll say to the O.P. good for you on getting a new car to replace the old one until you get it fixed.
It looks like it will need at least a new front clip, but the car is definitely repairable from what I can see.

And on the other topic discussed on this thread, a lot of people forget that when these cars were built, they were the basis of a higher performance build, or a fast and reliable street car as built.
If you are in doubt, just look up what Dick Landy, Sox&Martin, Mr. Norm, Ed Hamburger, and many more were doing to these so called ''rare cars'' back when these cars were new.
A lot of people don't or can't (because of age) remember when these performance cars were just cars, not collector cars worth big bucks if they are original and numbers matching.

So, do what you want within reason, it's just a car and always will be after all.......
Im almost 64, and have always loved Mopars, and know all the racers you mentioned and more, plus the local track hero, a 71 Demon 340, "The Demonstrator." I appreciate all the responses, and will continue with my plan. The original NM motor with the dizzy, carb, manifolds, air cleaner, and the rest have been restored, and shrink wrapped in the heated garage. The built 408 is going in for old man fun. If they ever have the local Mopar show again, I'll enter it in the stock class and keep the hood closed. As my avatar shows, I'm ready to hang the new fender soon. Paul.
