Used Car Values

-
No new cars available because of the computer chip shortage. Makes the used cars worth gold.
Have you driven by a new car lot lately? The lots are mostly empty of new cars, and the row of cars out front are all used. In the windshields are numbers like 19, 20, 18, 19, 17, etc. And comments like, Like New and Low Miles. The New car dealerships are going to car auctions and outbidding owners of smaller used car lots. So not only are prices up because dealers are having to pay more for NICE used cars, but since there are no new cars, people are willing to pay more for creampuff used cars.

The big investment companies are doing the same thing with real estate/ residential homes. They are snatching em up before normal people can, and jacking the price up. Big Business has just about wiped all the small guys out, in alot of different facets. Not a good sign

I’m going to call the dealer and see what they will give me for my 2020 Ram truck. They sent an email looking for used cars. I had to settle for the features that I got on it because I bought it during Covid. So if they’ll give me a good pile of money for it and I can order a new one within a semi-reasonable amount of time I might do it. If I could get the new one by May it would be doable.

Value of the Federal Reserve Note is going down....

It’s crazy seeing 4.55 for basic low test dyno piss in Cali...

Looked at a Nissan Frontier yesterday, just because I drove by on my way home. They had mostly trucks which means not many. I was actually curious what a "compact" truck goes for these days. $43,000! Dont forget the useless dealer add ons like several HUNDRED for scotchguard. And 3 grand for "adjusted market value."
